It was rather funny that me and Ziwan have been singing quite a bit in the office recently. Perhaps to entertain ourselves in that shady corner where we are sitting. It was really hilarious how we thought the song was so apt for many instances. As you may have expected, we spread our joy inwards, to the rest of the colleagues sitting inside with our infamous song, The Feeling – Love It When You Call.

Shokudo again the very next day. This time round I went to catch Red cliff before heading for yummy food. Oh boy check out that show man. It’s superb!! It’s in chinese though. haha how often do you hear me say chinese movie is good, so this must be an excellent masterpiece! Salmon avocado pasta!! Must-try!

To be filled with God’s favor means to soar above all situations no matter what the circumstances might be. Indeed, I’ve been blessed abundantly at my workplace. So KQ if you’re thinking that I sound defeated from my previous entry, hey bro, far from it. Perhaps I am just too tired.
It’s time for me to count my blessings, both literally and not.
- I still think it’s a blessing to be able to return to the same company for a second term of attachment during the holidays.
- Friendly and fun-loving colleagues. I thank God especially for L, for she has been a fantastic friend to me for the past one month and imparted much knowledge unto me. For J, who “bullies” me, yet is so entertaining and cheery.
- I’ve been blessed with an awesome privilege to be part of the team for the Spa Party. I believe it’s a hard to come by chance and I won’t trade that for more shopping, fun and sleep.
- Many thanksgivings for a benevolent boss who also granted me a spa treat as a reward for the effort put in for the Spa Party.
- More $$$ rolling in as I have been sought after for a really good tuition deal which I am still considering.
- More & more $$$$$ rolling in as L and manager have already given green light to my long term stay. Now the challenging part is to balance between my school schedule and work when school reopens. (pls pray for wisdom in this area)
- How can I not thank God for the arrangement of having to work together with Ziwan in the same company. She’s always my bundle of joy.
- Too many, too many blessings for me to list them all. Some may be small but I am still very thankful for each of them. Even when workload seems crazy at times, a colleague is getting on my nerves/ by the sight makes me feel disgusted, I am well assured that I am not taking this in my own strength. Joy and peace are rising from Him who make the grandiose promise of never leaving nor forsaking us. Praise God!
As for now, let’s take a baby step at a time. Carpe diem!

It took a subtle rebuttal from a faithful friend to remind me that many times, I don’t mean what I said. I just wanna lament on the kinda treatment I have been getting recently. Yes, I do dislike the person, but I don’t wanna poison him/her. Neither do I wanna tarnish his/her reputation.
Sometimes, you should just leave me alone. I mean it and I am serious. It’s like I’ve already back off and try to turn a blind eye on the things that you have been doing, so why can’t you do the same and stop stepping on my tail.
When friend E tries to be so nice and join me in bit**ing about the person, I get defensive and protected the person’s reputation instead. So what the hell is wrong with me? I find it ridiculous on a second thought. Here I am lamenting about someone and a split second later, I find myself singing a different tune. It’s certainly not hard to impress me but don’t take my kindness for granted.
But for now, I am DEAD sure, I am disgusted with you to the core. Don’t worry the days are numbered. You won’t get to see me any longer when I am gone.
