Earlier this month, we celebrated Laurel’s birthday. Finally got hold of this precious picture. She’s my beloved mentor mom in the office =)

Chill out with my Ah-Nei buddy
Casuarina Curry & Prata
After you try their prata, all other prata shops pale in comparison. No exaggeration. Even Al’ameen can’t fight this. Those the place is pretty ulu (secluded), the journey there is absolutely worth it! Go try it, it’s now my MOST favorite supper place.

Ginger milk. The best ginger drink I have ever tasted, be it their ginger milk or ginger tea. It is still the best in Singapore!

Vegetarian murtabak. Gosh, I loveeeee the potato and onion combi dipped in their AWESOME curry!!! Yummilicious!

Caleb had mutton murtabak and he complained it’s too huge for him to finish. (No food, complain. With food, also complain. Oh c’mon.. )
Casuarina Curry

Hibiki- The higher-end Sakae
No joke, as usual, I googled it. Yup that’s what they said- Hibiki is the sister brand of Sakae. I am really glad to say that the standard is MUCH higher. With the 15 million dollars revamp at Cuppage Terrace, the ambience for al fresco is perfect! Now, I am fully convinced that you pay more for better service and quality food! =)

Chawamushi has never tasted better than this!

Fried salmon slices as appetiser

The soba is supposed to be dipped into the thick broth. Yumms…

My favorite..

The lemon jelly and tofu cheesecake are a match in heaven. A definite must-try!

One of my most enjoyed Jap dinner. You should try it too =)

It’s a chocolate that looks like errrrr.. condom!
The Straits/Archipelago Brewery
Ta-dah! My best lunch for the week. Can’t believe there is such a place in the CBD area that is not so crowded, nice ambience and good food!

Beef goulash

Chicken chop. I find this the most worth it! Am craving for it. Going there again next week =)
Well known for their craft beers ($9 per glass from 11am to 8pm; $12 per glass after 8pm). [I guess it's too early to be drinking during lunch!!]

Peaberry & Pretzels

Hot apple and rhubarb crumble.. Yummilicious!!!

Guess what?!! This is how a gooseberry looks like. Hey c’mon don’t pretend like you knew it all along! =) Apparently, the yellow fruit can be eaten. Can be sweet if you are lucky. Unfortunately, not my luck that night. It turned out to be sour.

Home-made ice cream with vanilla beans. It was an eye-opening night. Learnt quite a few things about pastries and coffee. Yeah, both are my loves. Such a cool place, you gotta soak in the atmosphere man..

Dessert for my mom =) Glass jelly with grapes & atap-chee (palm seeds) I think I am rather creative to come up with this! LOL Trust me, it’s refreshing with a good mix of lemon juice and honey. =)

Alrighty, to end it off, I found this funny picture on facebook. All good man has a humble beginning. Training starts young. Have a blessed week ahead! =)
